A FIRST FOR AMATEUR GOLF
AT THIS YEAR’S INTERNATIONAL
PAIRS WORLD FINALS.
2019 Saw the start of several changes to the 20-year-old format of the International Pairs with players, guests and sponsors competing in 4 different divisions.
“Growth across all categories of Pairs golf is important not only for the event, but also to ensure inclusivity of all amateur golfers and licence holders” comments World Golf Tournaments.

AMPUTEE DIVISION WINNERS!
2019 also saw the start of what promises to be a huge boost for disabled golfers on a world-wide basis.
With players being paired as a pair consisting of a leg amputee and an arm amputee playing together, this was applauded by the players and officials.
With 40 players already committed for next year this section will be keenly contested in the years to come.
Reinhard Schuhknecht from South Africa and Josh Williams from Canada did enough to beat Chris Wood (Namibia) and Mick Horsley (UK) by 11 points.
