This year saw the introduction of a separate ladies’ division at the World Finals.
The winning Ladies Pair of Isabelle Backx and Sally-Anne Hyatt are the proud – 1st ever – World Ladies Champions.
The pair from Mount Edgecombe Country Club in KZN had to fight to the last hole to ensure victory by a single stableford point over a very competitive Zimbabwe team. The mother and daughter pair of Elfra and Nicky van Eyk from Irene Golf Club ended in a very credible 3rd place.
