SOUTH AFRICA CROWNED INTERNATIONAL PAIRS 2019 WORLD CHAMPIONS!

In what can only be described as an amazing feat, South African players were crowned as the International Pairs World Champions in Portugal. After losing by a single point for the last 3 years, this year saw a change in fortunes for the SA team.

IT IS THE 1ST TIME IN 14 YEARS OF PARTICIPATING THAT SOUTH AFRICA WON THE TITLE.

MOONOOI GOLF CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONS!
The pair of Peet van Schalkwyk and Mario Strydom brought their A-Game to this year’s final. They needed all their skill and expertise to ensure they faced up to the elements, with rain and strong winds on the final day, they had their work cut out.
They managed to pip the pair of Tony Morgan and Kevin Kenny from the UK by 6 Stableford points after 36 holes. Stephen Kiaro and Michael Warigia from Kenya, the 1st round leaders, were a 1 point behind the pair from the UK in the third position.
Well done gentlemen for making your club, region, and country proud!
